Student Experience Amsterdam Minervahaven achieves BREEAM-NL In-Use Excellent certificate

We proudly announce that Student Experience Amsterdam Minervahaven has obtained the BREEAM-NL In-Use certificate! With this certificate, the complex is officially the most sustainable student residence in Europe.

BREEAM is the international certification method for a sustainably built environment and provides insight into the sustainability performance of a building and the area. Student Experience Amsterdam Minervahaven is a proud owner of the BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate. We are happy to take our sustainability performance to the next level with the BREEAM-NL In-Use Excellent certificate. The label indicates the performance based on a set of standards, including the exploitation phase of the project. This means that the building is not only sustainably built but is also sustainable in use.   

Buildings with BREEAM-NL In-Use certificate are assessed on a wide range of topics, such as management, health and well-being, energy, transport, water, material use, waste, land use, and ecology and pollution. These targets rise above the legally required minimum, making the BREEAM-NL certification ‘above and beyond the law.’ This certification is a proud next step for Student Experience in our sustainability journey, where we hold sustainable practices at every step of our business practice as a core value of the company.
