Zuidas proves that temporary does not mean compromised. Originally developed as a modular solution to activate high-value land in Amsterdam Zuid, the complex has operated since 2015 with quality and yield matching our permanent locations. The ground lease with the City of Amsterdam has been extended, with the complex now remaining operational until July 2027. It demonstrates how Student Experience can deliver returns and community impact within a fixed lifecycle.
Where the rooftop sets the tone
The signature orange sports field on the roof offers views across the Zuidas skyline and acts as a natural gathering point for residents. Inside, a game corner, dining room, study spaces and courtyard garden turn a high-density modular building into a connected vertical village. With Bagels & Beans and Bar Valdi on site, and the vibrant De Pijp neighbourhood five minutes away, daily life extends well beyond the studio door.
